This is a modified version of our interactive installation featured at FITC Amsterdam. The actual bluetooth presence service has been replaced by a scripted simulator which randomly adds and removes people from the installation. Enter your name in the popup field in the bottom and you will be playing an instrument too!
As promised before the source of this installation can be downloaded here. Feel free to modify and use the source. All we ask is, if you do use it, document it somehow and post a comment back here. Thanx.

This is very cool, I have been looking into the Roomware Project and it is nice to see an example. I may have a play with the source when I get time!
Thanks for posting!

That’s absolutely awsome!!!
Great job guys!
I’m flash designer and I found it very interesting. I’m thinking about virtual forest installation for my kids where you could use mobile to play differnt sounds (bird, wind etc.) and walk trough virtual forest (trees are 3D and interactive – Papervision)
I’v got only one question: how can I get position of Bluetooth device? I need only distance from server to device – I’d like to develope your source (thanks again!!) and add volume level of sounds and camera zoom depanding on this distance value.
Thanks in advance!
